There are so many interesting, fun and just plain weird websites out there, so I thought I'd start putting some of them here. <br />The first one involves a book I just read, <a href="http://www.randomhouse.com/rhpg/features/kabul/">Kabul Beauty School</a> by Deborah Rodriguez.<br />It is about the author's struggle to open a beauty school and salon in Kabul, Afghanistan, and her fight to give Afghan women more independence.<br />She is also the President of <a href="http://oasisrescue.org/">Oasis Rescue</a>, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women in the Middle East by training them as beauticians.
